By William MacInnesChristoph Waltz was magnificent in Inglorious Basterds. Photo: Flickering Myth Inglorious Basterds - Score 10/10 Director: Quentin Tarantino This to me is Tarantino’s best film that I’ve seen (yet to watch all of them). It’s flawless. The alternate history story backed by a formidable cast with the exceptional performance by Christoph Waltz makes for such an entertaining watch. While both are only on screen for a short time Diane Kruger and Michael Fassbender executed their characters perfectly also. As is expected with Quentin Tarantino films, violence was prevalent in Inglorious Basterds. Photo: Roger Ebert Tarantino is a master of extended, tense scenes filled with dialogue and this movie shows, with the opening scene and the intense bar standoff, I strongly suggest to go and watch them in full.
When it comes to Tarantino’s use of violence you either love it or hate, I myself LOVE it but that’s just me. This score may be biased but I personally didn’t see any faults anywhere. Cover Photo: IMDB
